“1980’li yılların başından itibaren dünyada ve Türkiye’de küreselleşmenin
etkisiyle iletişim sektöründe yoğunlaşma ve finansal hareketler hız
kazanmıştır. Kamu hizmeti yayıncılığı tasfiye edilmiş, medya endüstrisinde
tek ve tümleşik bir pazar yapısına geçilmiştir. Türk medyası ise 1980’li
yıllardan sonra yatay ve dikey bütünleşme evrelerini tamamlamış, 2000’li
yılların başından itibaren ise küresel medya devlerine eklemlenmeye
başlamıştır.

Medya ortamının ticarileşmesi, medya mülkiyetinin az sayıda kişinin elinde
toplanması,ekonomik ve sosyal olarak baskı altındaki toplum kesimlerinin
kamusal alanda temsilini zorlaştırmıştır. Küreselleşen medya ortamında
temsil edilemeyen toplum kesimleri, kendi seslerini duyurabilmek için
kendi medyalarını yaratmaya başlamışlardır. Anaakım medyaya karşı
örgütlenme yapıları ve içerikleriyle alternatif bir medya oluşturmaya
başlamışlardır. 1980’li yıllardan sonra küreselleşme dalgasıyla beraber
yeni toplumsal hareketlerin ortaya çıkardığı kolektif hareket kültürü
alternatif medyanın içeriğini ve örgütlenişini etkilemiştir. Alternatif
medya hakim kamusallığın karşısında temsil edilemeyenlerin temsil
edilebildiği karşıt bir kamusal alan oluşturmuştur. Türkiye’de ise
özellikle 1980’lerden sonra kamusal alan farklı seslere açılmaya
başlamıştır. Bu çeşitlilik anaakım medyaya karşı kendini farklı şekilde
ifade eden alternatif bir medyanın oluşumuna da ön ayak olmuştur.

Anaakım medyanın dağıtım ve üretim ilişkileri dışında yer alan Ankaralı
bir grup anarşistin İstanbul’daki arkadaşlarıyla beraber çıkardıkları
aylık anarşist Ahali Gazetesi ve İstanbul’lu bir grup anarşist-komünistin
2007 yılında 9 ay boyunca yayımladıkları aylık anarşist-komünist
‘Mülksüzler’ gazetesi çalışma ilişkileri ve ürün içeriği bakımından
incelenmiştir. Katılımcı gözlem, derinlemesine görüşme ve tema analiziyle
veri toplanmıştır. Uygulamayla elde edilen veriler ışığında gazetelerin
örgütlenişi ve çalışma ilişkileri bakımından anakım medyanın dışında
alternatif bir örgütlenme ve içerik modeli sunduğu belirlenmiştir.

Alan araştırmam boyunca bana karşı çok içten ve sıcak davranan Ahali
ekibine ve Mülksüzler ekibine çok teşekkür ederim; onlardan çok şey
öğrendim. Onlar olmazsa bu tez asla tamamlanamazdı. Ütopyalarımızın bir
gün gerçek olması dileğiyle.

“From the beginning of the 1980’s concentration and financial movements were accelerated in media sector by the effect of globalization throughout the
world and Turkey. Public service broadcasting were sold out and there was
transition to integrated and unique market structure in the media industry. Following the 1980’s, the Turkish media has completed horizontal
and vertical integration phases and from the beginning of 2000, it has
started to be articulated in global media giants.

Commercialization of media context and oligopolistic structure of media
ownership made it difficult for components of society which have been
under pressure to represent themselves in public sphere. These pieces of
society, who are not represented within the globalizing media, tried to
create their own media structures to make their voices heard. They started
to generate an alternative media with their own organizational patterns
and content against the mainstream media. The collective movement culture,which is made visible by the new social movements within the globalization wave after the 1980’s, had effects on the content and the organization practices of the alternative media. Alternative media created an opposite public sphere in which the unrepresented could be represented against the dominant publicity. In Turkey, especially after the 1980’s, public sphere was open to different voices. This diversity made it possible for the alternative media that expresses itself in a different way.

In the practical part of the study, monthly anarchist newspaper “Ahali”,
which is published by a group of anarchist people from Ankara through the
circle of in İstanbul, and monthly anarchist-communist newspaper
‘Mülksüzler’ which is published by a group of anarchist-communist from
İstanbul during the nine months in 2007 is analyzed from the perspective
of working practices and content. Data is collected through a number of
methods involving participant observation, in-depth interview and theme
analyses. In the light of the data collected through the practical part of
the study, it is pointed out that the newspaper presents an alternative organization and content model that stands apart from the mainstream media.”

franco leggio un anarchico di ragusa

madenlerden sokakalara,yollarda, sürgünlerde, cezaevlerinde; ama mücadelenin hep göbeğinde, yılmayan, durmayan italyalı bir yoldaşın, franco leggio’ nun hikayesi…

in 1949 the italian anarchist franco leggio, who has died aged 85, was prominent in an epic two-month occupation by sicilian sulphur miners fighting lay-offs. in 1957 he escaped a trap sprung by the spanish fascist secret police when his comrade – and one of one of the ablest of spanish anarchist guerrillas – josep facerias was gunned down in barcelona. in 1960 leggio founded the publishing house la fiaccola – which later inspired the scottish anarchist stuart christie to set up his own cienfuegos press, and in the 1980s leggio was at the forefront of the struggle against the 1983 installation of u.s cruise missiles at comiso in sicily.

leggio was born to a mining family in ragusa, sicily. after leaving school, he began working as a miner. it was the 1930s, the era of benito mussolini’s regime, and leggio began organising informal anti-fascist meetings. by 1944 italy had switched sides and he was confined to the ragusa sanatorium with tuberculosis.

on january 1 1945 he slipped out of the sanatorium to lead the local “non si parte” (“we won’t go”) revolt against the return of draftees to the navy. the movement, sparked off by an anarchist newssheet, led to an armed uprising and hundreds of arrests. leggio served 18 months in prison.

following the 1949 miners’ battle, leggio was forced to leave ragusa and did not return until 1969. he worked across italy, and then in france and collaborated with cipriano mera. the “bricklayer general” had led one of the most formidable spanish civil war anarchist columns and was still opposing the franco dictatorship. then came the 1957 barcelona shoot-out.

in 1982 his involvement in the trial of another italian anarchist, giovanni marini, led to leggio serving a further six months in ragusa jail.

the courageous leggio seemed invincible when confronting police and fascists, judges in court and party and union bureaucrats. he died in the same hospital he had sneaked out of in 1945, and was interred with the latest issue of sicilia libertaria, the local anarchist paper, tucked under his arm.

non è un documentario, una ricostruzione biografica della vita di franco leggio, ma un omaggio ad un uomo e alle sue battaglie per un mondo migliore, all’Utopia che ha così a lungo saputo coltivare e spargere ai quattro venti. “franco leggio, un anarchico di ragusa” si apre con la voce di rosa balistreri. la luna è coperta da nuvole e altre ancora – scure, improvvise, gravide di eventi, cariche di speranze – corrono veloci sulle pietre di Ibla e le strade di ragusa.

“stasera vado e corro con il vento per aprire le porte della storia / stasera voglio dare per un momento vita al passato e alla memoria” canta la balistreri, e nelle sue parole c’è forse il senso di questo lavoro: pino bertelli, dando vita alla memoria, compone un film sulla storia, con al centro franco leggio, la sua etica e politica proletaria, da militante e anarchico.

this two decades of resistance, leaving the arditi del popolo and reach those partisans who did not stop april 25, 1945, is well told through images and period films (such as a speech by errico malatesta in 1920 or the entry of partisans in milan in april 1945 ) and through the testimony of partisans original anarchists active in various regions of northern italy. a collective story which shows clearly the passion that has driven these men and women, for whom the partisan struggle was experienced not as a mere armed opposition under a freedom-but as the beginning of a social revolution.

quando nella primavera del 1945 l’insurrezione dilaga in tutto il nord italia, gli anarchici, già protagonisti nei primi anni venti della resistenza popolare a uno squadrismo che sta per farsi regime, poi del confino, del «fuoriuscitismo» e della tragica esperienza della rivoluzione spagnola, sono ancora una volta armi in pugno contro il fascismo. dopo l’8 settembre 1943 in tutto il centro-nord si costituiscono le prime bande, poi diventate formazioni autonome in alcune aree o parte integrante delle organizzazioni militari costituite dalle varie forze antifasciste: brigate garibaldi, matteotti, giustizia e libertà…
questo ventennio di resistenza, che parte dagli arditi del popolo e arriva a quei partigiani che non si sono fermati il 25 aprile 1945, viene così raccontato attraverso immagini e filmati d’epoca (come un comizio di errico malatesta del 1920 o l’entrata dei partigiani a milano nell’aprile 1945) e attraverso le testimonianze originali di partigiani anarchici attivi in diverse regioni del nord italia. Un racconto collettivo da cui emerge chiara la passione che ha mosso questi uomini e queste donne, per i quali la lotta partigiana era vissuta non come una semplice opposizione armata a un regime liberticida ma come l’inizio di una rivoluzione sociale.

Christiania, Danimarka’nın başkenti Kopenhag’a birkaç kilometre yakınlarda bulunan özgür bölgenin adı. 850 civarında sakini bulunan bu bölge 1971 yılında hippiler, işsizler ve bir grup genç tarafından mesken edildi.

Grönland ve Faröe Adaları’nın yarı bağlı olduğu Danimarka’nın başkenti Kopenhag’ın merkezinde devletçik. 1968 yılında askeri birliklerin şehir içinden çıkarılması kararı almasıyla boşalan askeri karargah, 1971 yılından itibaren hippi ve evsizlerin işgaline uğradı. Kendi bayrağı, ortak yönetimi, çocuk yuvası, dükkânları, eğlence yerleri olan Christiania’da yaklaşık 1000 kişi yaşarken, bölge Kopenhag’ın merkezinde ortaçağı yaşamaya devam ediyor. Merkezi ısıtma sisteminin olmadığı bölgeye araç girişi yasak.

Sarı zemin üzerinde bulunan 3 kırmızı nokta Christiania’nın bayrağını oluşturuyor. Noktalar Christiania yazısındaki ‘i’nin noktalarını sembolize ediyor. Atölye, lokanta, manav, fırın ve barlardan elde edilen gelir ortak kasada toplanıyor.

Bölgede sevilmeyenler listesinde ilk sırada polisler bulunuyor. Emniyet müdürlüğü ‘tecrübesiz polisleri staj için bu bölgeye’ gönderiyor. Polis baskını günlük hayatın bir parçası olmuş.

Christiania’nın yönetiminde herkes söz sahibi. Kararlar ortak Mecliste alınıyor. En büyük suçların başında hırsızlık geliyor. Hırsızlık yaptığı tespit edilen birinin bölgede kalması imkânsız.

Liberal – Muhafazakar koalisyon hükümeti, değeri milyar kronla ifade edilen bölgeyi yıkıp, iskana açmak istiyor. Büyük inşaat firmalarının iştahını kabartan bu teklif, Christiania halkının direnişiyle şimdilik bir başka bahara ertelendi.
